This is a stylized car project I recently completed, inspired by the iconic 1957 Chevy Bel Air.
I aimed to capture the bold character and exaggerated curves of classic American cars while keeping everything within a clean, modern, stylized visual language.
The model was fully created in Autodesk Maya, focusing on appealing silhouettes, simplified surfaces, and smooth, toy-like proportions.
Rendering was done in Blender Cycles, where I experimented with warm highlights and soft reflections to enhance the stylized mood.
This asset was originally developed as part of an environment design exploration at Fuse Games. Together with my colleague, Product Manager Yerdan Bostan, we made several design decisions regarding the visual tone, proportions, and overall direction to ensure the car fit seamlessly within the project’s environment style and gameplay requirements.
Although it started as a relatively quick modeling exercise, it became a fun opportunity to blend retro automotive design with contemporary stylized 3D aesthetics.
I truly enjoyed exploring shapes, colors, and lighting to bring this piece to life.
Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it!
